Their warm feather-weight on your chest, skin-on-skin as they sleep. Their huge eyes looking up at you as they feed. Whether they’ll be your first child or your fourth, their first few weeks earth-side will change you forever.
Held in my cosy home studio in Weymouth, my newborn sessions are a chance for you to escape the steady stream of relatives, naps and nappies. There’ll be no pressure, no stress, no expectations. Just a safe, comfortable space where you can forget the rest of the world and spend time together as a family.
My sessions are free-flowing, and completely baby-led. I’ll invite you all in, make you a drink and a snack, and then let the session unravel organically from there. I may gently pose your child occasionally, but props are kept to a minimum so i can tell the story of your family in an honest way, and capture your tiny, beautiful little person just as they are.

My studio is a cosy space in my home, just outside of Weymouth. Filled with natural materials, natural light, soft furnishings and warm, earthy colours, it’s perfect for photos (not to mention, “oh my god, I could fall asleep” comfy!) If you’re bringing older siblings, the playroom is right next door as well, just in case they get bored (or in case you just need 5 minutes’ peace!)
Photo-wise, I’m sorry but I can’t help it…I’m a sucker for all those gorgeous newborn details! Those Bambi lashes, the tiny fingers and bunched-up hands, the soft, downy fluff (why is no one talking about the fluff?!) It only lasts a few weeks, and it’s all just utterly adorable.
But I also want to capture you. The way you look at them, hold them, love them. Because one day your child will be looking at the photos themselves. Maybe with you when they’re four, maybe with their own children when they’re forty. And they won’t care how you look, or what your hair looks like. They’ll just love to see you, to see what you looked like when they were born. To see how loved they’ve always been.

OLDER BABY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS
My older baby photoshoots are the perfect way to capture that ‘every day is amazing’ chapter between smiling and walking (i.e. the sweet spot between cuteness and mayhem!) Those magic 6-12 months when every day brings something exciting and new, and your child’s personality is just starting to develop and shine.
My older baby sessions are relaxed, pressure-free and completely baby-led. I want to capture your child just being their lovable selves. All those gummy grins and infectious giggles, the adorable frowns and oh-so-serious faces…
I’ve got to say, it’s a pretty special time to have a photoshoot. And not just because it’s a super-cute chapter (even though it is!) But because when you look at the photos in a few years time, you’ll recognise the first few small beginnings of the little person you’ve grown to know inside-out.

FAQ'S
What should I wear?
I always suggest sticking to neutral, earthy tones as these best compliment my studio and my work. As a part of your photoshoot, you will have full access to my mama, child and baby client wardrobe and upon booking, you will receive a full style and prep guide from me to help you plan ahead.
Where will my session take place?
Sessions take place in my cosy in home studio, located in Weymouth, Dorset.
I also do in home and out door newborn shoots if desired.
What should we expect for our shoot?
I will welcome you into my home studio where i will take care of you for our whole session, including making sure you drink a hot cup of cup of tea or coffee. I want you to feel at home and enjoy soaking up these precious moments with your newborn baby as i work quietly around you. Capturing everything from all those tiny details to the inbetween moments.
When should I book my shoot?
Its always best to get in touch as early as possible to avoid missing out. I typically book 3 months in advance so would suggest booking a newborn or maternity shoot just after your 20 week scan. For newborn i will pencil in a date 10 days to 2 weeks from your due date, and whenever your little one decides to arrive we move if needed.
What should we bring?
I will send you a full session prep and style guide before your shoot to tell you everything you need to know. But most things are taken care of by me.
Can I choose the images?
Of course; the full gallery will be sent to you via a private online gallery and you can choose the number of images as per your package or upgrade if you wish.
